By 1980, the first grapes were planted on the farm and over time, the Claar family developed over 80 acres of premium vineyards.

After selling grapes to wineries throughout the nation and receiving recognition for their unique taste and quality from numerous winemakers, the Claar family decided to become an estate winery. In 1997, they processed and bottled all of their grapes in their own 10,000 square foot facility and in 1999, they added a 4,000 square foot temperature and humidity controlled barrel building that holds over 1000 oak barrels.

Claar Cellars Winery is a place where you can experience a variety of red and white wines, as well as dessert wines, each with its unique taste and flavor. Their menu includes Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab - Merlot, and their special blend - Corneauxcopia.
