Larry's wines are produced with minimal use of oak to retain the fruit flavors of the grapes, and aged for 8 to 10 years prior to release. Varieties include a Rosé, Carménère, Dolcetto, Malbec, Merlot, Montepulciano, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Syrah, assorted blends (Tail Wagger, Pound Puppy), and Sirius, a fortified red blend.

Visitors to the winery are welcomed by Jett, a black Shepherd mix who is still adjusting to her role as the new poster puppy of Sleeping Dog Wines. The winery's previous mascot, Aurora, a white Shepherd mix, had graced the labels and greeted customers for ten years before passing away in the winter of 2014.
