Business Description
Founder and Chief Executive of CoWork LLC d/b/a Workuity.
My business education began at an early age. I was fortunate to have grown up and worked in a family business that my grandfather formed over eighty five years ago. The business, the Marcus Corporation (NYSE - MCS), is now a publicly traded enterprise, still operated by the family.
Rather than join the family business, I made a choice to venture out on my own and became a Blockbuster Video Store franchisee. I went on to successfully develop, operate, and sell a chain of Blockbuster locations throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota, at a time of great success for Blockbuster.
Over time I went on to develop my own businesses including: Two software companies which license their technology to Fortune 500 companies; Screenz Computing and Office Centers; and Tailors Touch.
I am now bringing my small business knowledge to Workuity, a coworking facility developer expecting to open 7 locations within the next few years.
