Business Description
Growing up in a family of small business owners on both sides, Aaron always dreamed of owning his own business. He enrolled in business school at Indiana State University in the fall of 2011 with intentions of earning a degree in business management and eventually owning his own business, although he had no idea what that business would be.
An opportunity to purchase his grandfather's carpet cleaning business presented itself during the winter break of his freshman year of college. Aaron learned of his grandfather's plans to retire and sell his carpet cleaning equipment to a local competitor. Inspiration struck. Aaron realized that he could purchase the business while continuing his education. The flexibility to schedule work around his classes would allow him time to learn the trade and grow the business while completing his education. It was also a unique way to continue a family tradition since Windell's Carpet Care has been in business since 1970.
