This versatile venue serves as an educational facility for students of the Jazz Studies Division of the University of Central Oklahoma School of Music, a community-focused live music venue, and a state-of-the-art recording studio.

The School of Music offers a range of jazz programs for both music majors and non-majors, from an undergraduate Minor in Jazz Studies to a Master of Music in Jazz Studies with a Major in Performance or Music Production. The UCO Jazz Lab is managed by Clint Rohr, who began his rich history with Central in 2001 as a graduate assistant for the College of Arts, Media and Design. As well as his position in the Central community, he also serves the greater Oklahoma community as a performer.
