Learn more about The Dickens Carolers

Year Established1978

The Dickens Carolers, located in Seattle, WA, are the Puget Sound's premier Victorian-costumed Christmas carolers. They have been delivering the spirit of the season through their polished and professional performances since 1978. The group consists of a cappella quartets that sing holiday favorites, both traditional and contemporary, in beautiful four-part harmony.

The carolers are owned and managed by people who have been carolers themselves, which is why they take great pride in their craft. They understand what it's like to share such an experience with their audiences and with each other. The group's favorite engagements are the small ones, the family parties in homes where they get to engage with their audience and take requests.

Although The Dickens Carolers started as an off-shoot of a singing telegram company, a single quartet has grown and evolved into a northwest institution of 50+ singers coming together every year to perform for thousands of people.

Nathan and Jason bought the company in 2001, and they take care of the company's operations. Outside of caroling season, Nathan is the Set Designer and Scenic Painter for the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society. Jason is also an Instructor at The 8th Style School of Tango.

The Christmas carolers offer a unique and magical touch to holiday parties, adding to the ambiance of any event. They provide both literal and figurative delivery, able to perform anywhere in Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Tacoma, or throughout the Puget Sound.

The Dickens Carolers have received high praise from their customers, with one reviewer stating, "What a lovely and magical touch these amazing singers added to our housewarming/holiday party!" Another reviewer wrote, "Amazing voices and arrangements. I heard new elements in so many familiar songs, and new holiday tunes as well."

Overall, The Dickens Carolers bring life to the spirit of the holiday season, and their passion for their craft shines through in their performances. They are a must-have for any holiday event in the Seattle area.
