Business Description
Praised as a pianist with artistic insight and dynamic energy, Dr. Peirong Lo has performed extensively in solo and chamber music in the D.C. area, including the Kennedy Center and Strathmore.
Presently, Dr. Lo teaches piano at her private studio in Ashburn. She currently serves as a piano faculty member of the Arts Adjunct Program at Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland. She is a member of the Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association (NVMTA) and a performance member of the Friday Morning Music Club.
Dr. Lo previously served as a vocal accompanist at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C. and taught at the International School of Music in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition to her performing and teaching career, she participated in a recording project with Helen Marlais in her Succeeding at the Piano series.
Lo earned her Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) degree in collaborative piano from the University of Maryland and her Master of Music (M.M.) degree in piano
