Business Description
Steve Horst founded Horst Pharmacy in 1981. He has owned and operated the pharmacy for 34 years. In 1988, he expanded the local pharmacy to include an emphasis in Compounding Services. Since completing pharmacy school at the University of Oklahoma, Steve has continued his education with extensive training in pharmaceutical compounding. He is a member of many professional organizations, including: National Association of Community Pharmacy, past president of Missouri Pharmacy Association, Cape Girardeau County Pharmaceutical Association and Professional Compounding Centers of America. These organizations provide information on ways to improve pharmaceutical care, which ultimately translates to better care for you and your family.
Steve is also an active member in his community. He serves as a member of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Missouri Medical Board and past president of Jackson Rotary Club.
