High Hand Nursery Giftly

High Hand Nursery in Loomis, CA offers a shopping experience that feels different from a typical garden center. Set inside the historic High Hand fruit shed, the property blends early 20th-century character with a lively mix of plants, design inspiration, and places to linger. The building itself dates back to 1910, when it served as a fruit packing shed and distribution center, and that history still shapes the atmosphere today. Since new owners revived the site in 2003, it has grown into a destination that brings together nursery shopping, dining, and landscape services in one spacious setting.

Visitors can tour the greenhouse and browse High Hand grown plants alongside unusual varieties, pottery, and garden art. The grounds are designed for strolling, with landscaped paths, koi ponds, shaded benches, and plenty of visual interest along the way. It is the kind of place where someone can take their time, compare plants, and leave with ideas for home or garden projects.

High Hand Nursery also goes beyond plants. Its café gives guests a place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or brunch in a setting that feels relaxed and welcoming. There is also an olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop, along with additional gift items that make it easy to find something special for a hostess, a gardener, or a friend who enjoys unique local shops. The mix of retail and dining makes it especially appealing for shoppers who want more than a quick errand.

For those planning a meaningful outing or looking for a gift experience in Loomis, High Hand Nursery stands out for its variety, thoughtful layout, and layered charm. It is a place where gardening, design, and hospitality come together in a way that feels memorable without trying too hard.
