In 1986, Pat moved his business across the street and opened Pat's Place, a sports bar that ran successfully for many years until Pat sold the business in 1999. In 2005, following a six-year hiatus from the restaurant business, Pat and his son Grant took on the challenge of reopening the restaurant at the Pompano Beach Golf Course, extensively remodeling the space. Galuppi's opened for business in March of 2005 and has been a staple in the community ever since.
