Renee was only a teenager when she knew repairing and restoring dolls was something she would someday turn into a career. For years, she studied, repaired, and collected dolls, until finally she was ready to shop locations for her store and doll hospital. She purchased and restored the historical Harrison Brainard House, an Italianate style house in Cobalt, CT. Like a lot of little girls, Renee grew up loving dolls. As she got older, her love grew and so did her dream of opening up her own lifesize doll house. Now that Renee's retired, she's made her dream a reality, and she's eager to share the magic of dolls with all of her customers -- young and old. Her charming little shop is in a Victorian house, and it's filled to the brim with treasures, from American Girl Dolls, delicate relics, and hard-to-find antiques to in-progress restorations. One of Renee's favorite things about her business is restoring her customers' childhood favorites to their original beauty in her doll hospital. Renee's passionate about the work she does, and she invites anyone who shares that passion to stop by and explore her collection!
