Ariel, our store owner, is a first time market owner and operator. She has experience in hospitality and catering. Ariel is also an herbalist, trained at the California School of Herbal Studies. Ariel fell in love with West Sonoma County when she moved here in 2012 from her home in Israel. Ariel is a strong believer in food as medicine. The town store declined and eventually shuttered in 2017. Ariel labored for two years to re-open the store and bring new vibrancy into the town with a healthy market for our community, and to showcase all the bounty of Sonoma County. You can find Ariel, most days, in the store. She is working diligently to improve the product mix, and fulfill the plan to open the deli. She lives in town and loves to be a resource for our neighbors and friends, old and new.
