Frank, a native of CA, came to work in MS , met and married Judy. Together as a hobby, they started raising Sable Antelope on their family farm. That hobby grew into a passion for the protection of endangered zebra and antelope species. To follow Judy's job, they moved to Point Arena where they had property and plans for retirement in the area. Judy still works and travels in the corporate world while Frank is "retired" managing the preserve.
B Bryan Preserve has been actively committed to the breeding and preservation of African hoof Stock for over a decade. Located Point Arena, California, our animals range from critically endangered to endangered and include various species of zebra, giraffe, and antelope. Not a zoo, but a private preserve housing majestic African animals in large open fields. Visits are available ONLY by reservation for the 10:00 am self driving tour and 3:30 guided tour in our open air vintage land rovers. No Drop Ins. Self driving $25/adult and $15 any child including infants under 10. Guided tour is $35/adult, $20 any under age of 10 including infants. Pets are NOT allowed on either tour. Tours last 1.5 hours and may not be suitable for children under 3. Lodging is available in one of our eco-friendly, beautifully appointed cottages. Visit our website to book.
