BioLotus Averil MacDowell, known for her meticulous depictions of objects and scenery, has been painting since 1972.
She received her BFA from West Virginia University, and is the owner of Artworks- a gallery of art and unusual gifts. Her works are in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Her works show the "beauty of the ordinary"- subjects that people can relate to in a personal way. She works on paper and canvas. Her primary medium is watercolor, and she has several print editions of her paintings.
