I am attempting to make a purchase but it won't go through
Cards can be declined for a variety of reasons. When Giftly submits a charge to your bank, they have automated systems that determine whether or not to accept the charge. These systems take into account a number of moving signals such as your purchase history, account balance, and submitted card information like the billing address and CVC code. One solution may be to contact your bank and ask them to approve your charge to www.giftly.com.
If you are attempting to make a purchase using a card that was issued outside the U.S., it may be the case that we are unable to process the payment. To purchase a gift you must be a U.S. citizen or legal alien residing in one of the fifty (50) states, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.
I thought I made a purchase but I didn't receive a receipt
If you did not receive a receipt via email and you do not see a charge from Giftly on your credit card statement, then the order probably did not go through. Go ahead and repurchase the gift through the website.
Please keep in mind that all gifts are refundable within 90 days of purchase, so if a charge later appears on your statement then it can be reversed.
I can't figure out how to purchase multiple gifts at once
In order to purchase multiple gifts, you will need to go through the purchase flow separately for each one.

I want to buy a gift card but the merchant has never heard of Giftly
Giftly isn't a traditional gift card, so it's no surprise that the merchant hasn't heard of us.
The recipient will redeem the gift using www.giftly.com and we will send them the gifted funds in the manner they choose - either on a Visa gift card in the mail or directly to their credit/debit card, bank account or PayPal account. We then remind them to use the gift and share with you what they did with the money.
They won't show anything to the merchant. Once they receive the funds from Giftly, they can then go and make a purchase whenever they'd like.
How does Giftly work?
Giftly allows people to send monetary gifts to friends and family and suggest where to go and what to get with the gifted funds. Through Giftly, purchasers can suggest a specific business or business category to the recipient and include a personal note.
Gifts can be delivered electronically, by hand, or by mail. The recipient receives the gift and is presented with the note and suggestions made by the purchaser.
After the recipient opens the gift, they can choose how to receive the funds associated with the gift.
Funds can be delivered as a deposit to a checking account, as a payment to PayPal or on a Visa gift card.
Giftly funds are not restricted to a particular merchant. The selected merchant is just a suggestion for where the gift should be spent. Recipients will receive the funds associated with a gift in a manner they choose and they can then go spend those funds at any merchant. When the recipient goes to a merchant, they will not use a Giftly Gift Card email, printout, or greeting card itself to make a purchase, they will use an normal payment method of their choosing.
We'll prompt the recipient to send a thank you card sharing how they used the funds.
Do gifts expire?
No, gifts sent through Giftly do not expire.
