Originally from Texas, I have always had a love for animals. Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian but I knew it would be hard on me to see the sick and injured animals. Instead I rescued every animal I could and when I was not rescuing them I was looking for ways to spend time with them.
I moved to Virginia in 1997 and attended George Mason University studying Business. After school I worked in the Real Estate Industry and in Direct Sales, I enjoyed what I did, but knew I wanted to do something more rewarding.
Then one day a friend was telling me about her dog walking services. It sounded like something I would really enjoy. Spend my days working with animals in the outdoors. Sounds like a dream job to me. So after working with friends and a few friends of friends I made it official and on January 1, 2008 we became YDSPS. It was the best thing I could have ever done.
My Own fur kids are my biggest inspiration for providing the best possible service.
