Business Description
Sheila was born in Hawaii but grew up in Southern California. She graduated from UCLA with a BS in kinesiology and earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Stanford University.
After graduation, Sheila worked at both UCLA inpatient and outpatient clinic, as well as a few other outpatient clinics before opening Yonemoto Physical Therapy in 1982. She also completed an advanced clinical training in TMJ (jaw problems) at UCLA and USC Dental Schools.
She continues to train in Integrative Manual Therapy, Qigong and management skills. Sheila married her high school sweetheart and has been married over 32 years now. She and her husband, Stan, have 3 children, all grown up!
Sheila loves to read, share her information on wellness and health, and especially enjoys teaching Qigong. She also is busy organizing lectures and classes on IMT to the public, physical therapy, and other healthcare communities.
