Business Description
Tracy Carruth, E-RYT 500, AYS, BS founded Yoga Balance Studio in McKinney, TX in 2004. She currently serves as studio director, principal teacher and creator of the Yoga Balance's affiliated Yoga-Alliance Registered 200- and 500-Hour School. Tracy has been practicing yoga since 1997, which has allowed her great opportunity for deep study and experience. Tracy attained her advanced teacher training in New York City from Sri Dharma Mittra, under whom she faithfully studied the classical Eight Limbs of Yoga (including extensive asana, pranayama, and meditation techniques), Ahimsa Vegetarianism Diet, Assisting and Adjusting, Satsang of Yogic Truth Lessons and Scriptural Texts.
Tracy continues to study personally and under many Master Teachers in order to broaden her understanding of many wisdom traditions and their modern day relevance for healthy, whole-hearted living. Tracy completed her Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Training under the Himalayan Institute's scholar Kathryn Templeton in 2013
