I began my career at Y-Not in the summer of 1982 washing windows and sweeping the parking lot for my grandmother. In the next several years I began new bicycle assembly. During my high school years I began waiting on customers and bicycle repairs. During my college years at BGSU I worked part-time in the summers. Upon graduation in December 1991 I began working full-time at Y-Not. In May 1993 I opened and operated the Mount Vernon location of Y-Not Cycling. When my father, Dennis stepped down as general manager in the fall of 1999, I took over. I am currently the general manager and serve on the board of directors as Secretary/Treasurer.
We're just just off the trail and over the bridge, here as your local bike shop. When you walk in, you'll see groomed paths of floor space through our history of profession: our bikes. There's close to nothing as nice as riding a bike, and as certified dealers of the internationally praised Trek Bicycle, we've got one for you. In the store are bikes that could take you up mountains, skate park ramps, curbs, your friends' driveways, through the finish line, through the mud, up the bike bike trail, over that bridge and trail! And we're happy to order any bike exactly for you. So, if we don't have your size, color, model, etc., we could. From tubes and tires to apparel and add-ons, we specialize in bike accessories and necessities. As you browse through the shop, we'll help to find just what you need.
