Business Description
Dr Leonard has been a veterinarian since 1992. She worked in a number of capacities in the KC area before becoming certified in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2004 and beginning a house-call practice. She added certifications in Chinese Veterinary Food Therapy in 2010 and Animal Chiropractic in 2012 and decided to open a practice providing holistic care to dogs and cats. WHPC opened in 2014 and has grown steadily every since. Dr Leonard and her husband have two grown boys in college and she enjoys playing agility with her whippets as often as possible. She has a great deal of experience with performance dogs and enjoys using her skills to improve theirs. She also is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator who volunteers with Lakeside Nature Center.
