Business Description

Mr. Steve White is the Owner/ Chief Instructor of ATA Martial Arts, Havelock NC. Mr. White is a 5th Degree Black Belt with the American Taekwondo Association. He has been training with the ATA in Havelock for over 18 years starting in 1996.

Mr. White is a World Champion, National Weapons Champion, and North Carolina State Champion. Mr. White is certified in 11 different weapons and self defense systems. He is also certified in Child Protection and Bully Prevention.

As a young man, Mr. White tried a number of team sports, however, they left him unfulfilled and frustrated. Mr. White was then exposed to the work of Bruce Lee and the seed was planted to begin his training as a Martial Artist. Mr. White began his martial arts training in Brooklyn, N.Y., in the Junior Golden Gloves Program. Mr. White is extremely familiar with the needs of those who have found team sports to not be their thing and can help you and your child find fulfillment through martial arts training
