As one of the elite community theatres in the US, Waukesha Civic Theatre has produced over 650 shows, entertained over 450,000 audience members, and served over 15,000 students.
The theatre was founded back in 1957 and has been a cultural staple in the city of Waukesha ever since. In 1962, Waukesha Civic Theatre purchased a former church on Washington Street and converted it into their home until 1999. Finally, in the fall of that year, WCT moved to a beautiful new facility in the heart of historic downtown Waukesha.
Theatre arts education has been a part of WCT's culture since its inception. The theatre provides educational opportunities that enrich, challenge, and entertain both participants and audience members. WCT believes that community theatre is about building a team of individuals who show up for one another - to create, to build, to plan, to dream, to clean, and to work - combining the efforts of paid and unpaid artists to create something beautiful.

Rhonda has a love for Waukesha Civic Theatre and the City of Waukesha, where she lives with her husband, their children, and their beloved pets.
