Business Description
Starting out as a 105lb beginner in college, my life changed forever after nearly getting killed while trying to bench press a bar with no weight and getting trapped under it. Committing my life from that day forward to learning all I could about working out, I switched majors at The University of Michigan to Kinesiology/Movement Science/Biomechanics, which I graduated in 1995.
The whole time in college I was a personal trainer for various gyms and upon graduating I got involved with a large national chain where I would meet my future partner in life and also in creating Unicus Fitness. We built it into a personal training and premium boot camp business at first but it morphed into a consulting, design and management firm after the first couple of years.
Today, I am sole owner and Unicus Fitness works with several Commercial and Residential buildings to provide tenants exclusive fitness programming. We also have our Fitness Lair to provide high end training to customers all over.
