Treats & Treasures is located in a building with a rich history. Built in 1910, the building has housed three different drug stores, with the last one, Cooper Drug, closing in 1985. Since then, it has remained a gift shop. Treats & Treasures is the last remaining soda fountain in Talihina, after the town's three soda fountains closed down in the "boom" years. The building also boasts the oldest working air conditioner in town, which was installed in the 1950s and is still going strong today.

The current owner, Rhonda Sears, purchased the store in 1995 and has managed it with the help of three generations. Though the business hasn't made them rich, Rhonda and her family have had a lot of fun running Treats & Treasures and have provided jobs for their three kids and several other young adults throughout the years.
