Business Description

Mel May – the owner and lead makeup artist at Top Knots + Gloss Artistry began her career in the beauty/skincare industry in mid – 2014. Starting from the ground level she grew her creative passion through artistry while working with one of the most sought after brands in the industry – Estee Lauder Co.

Her accomplishments range from attending training opportunities in Toronto, to successfully managing a prestige beauty counter. After having her first child she was offered a Brand Ambassador position; where she would travel to other high end retailers and coach other artists on trending application techniques, hosting master classes, and product knowledge.

At the beginning of 2017; she made the decision to officially change the direction that her career was taking her, and pursue the artistry side of the industry. Since that initial decision, she has made this her full time career and has been offering her mobile/on site services all across southwestern Ontario.
