Will Draper and Françoise Tyler, both graduates of Tuskegee University's School of Veterinary Medicine, The Village Vets has been serving the Decatur community for over 20 years. The practice started in the same facility as the former Decatur Veterinary Hospital, Dekalb County's first small animal veterinary practice. On June 2, 2008, The Village Vets of Decatur moved to its new home at 217 N. McDonough Street, across from Decatur High School.

The Village Vets specializes in small animal and exotic medicine, general surgery (conventional & laser), dentistry, digital X-ray (full body & dental), ultrasonography on site, boarding/drop offs, bathing/nail trimming, and house calls available. The team of veterinarians at The Village Vets are highly experienced and passionate about providing the best care possible for their patients.

Dr. Draper, one of the founders of The Village Vets, grew up in Inglewood, California, and graduated from Morningside High School before matriculating to Tuskegee University for both undergraduate and veterinary medical studies. He loves music, movies, painting with acrylics, and playing golf. His areas of veterinary interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and surgery. He recently had a local radio segment, "Critter Chatter". Dr. Draper has been honored as one of Atlanta's "Best Vets" in the November 2010 issue of Atlanta Magazine - his fourth consecutive honor in the publication. He was also selected as a FIVE STAR Veterinarian, and serves on the Board of Directors for the GVMA.
