Kristen M. Ruest, DVM, graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After growing up on her family's dairy farm, Kristen wanted to continue her passion for animal care by becoming a veterinarian. She earned Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from SUNY Fredonia, where she met her husband, Eric. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Ruest furthered her education with an internship in Emergency Medicine and Surgery at Veterinary Specialists of Rochester and Animal Emergency Services. She worked as an associate veterinarian at Georgetown Animal Clinic in Williamsville for over 7 years and has founded The Village Vet of Lewiston to provide care and service to the animals and pets this area.
