Founded in 1971 by international dance icon Ruth Page, the Center is housed in a beautiful 1927 building that includes a theater, rehearsal studios, a School of Dance, and offices for staff and Artists In-Residence.

The Ruth Page School of Dance provides the highest level of ballet training to professional dancers and those who study for personal enrichment. Children between the ages of three and twenty can participate in the training program, which includes Creative Movement, Adult Ballet, Jazz, BeMoved, Pilates, Hip Hop, Tap, and many other programs.
