The Goose's Acre Irish Pub in The Woodlands, TX is a unique and authentic European pub that is perfect for anyone looking for a great social experience. This pub was originally located in Midleton, Ireland and was named after the nearby historical landmark where geese would graze in the 1800s. The pub was first opened in 1886 and was passed down from father to son through the years. Unfortunately, in 2005, the pub was forced to close to make way for new development. Brian Young and Colm O'Neill, who were visiting Ireland at the time, proposed purchasing the contents of the pub, to include both bars, from the previous owner who was distraught over the pending loss of the pub's history and heritage. Although it meant shipping the pub across the Atlantic Ocean, the previous owner was ecstatic that The Goose's Acre Irish Pub would continue its traditions of bygone times.

Upon arriving in The Woodlands, Brian and Colm painstakingly disassembled and rebuilt the pub to preserve its rich history and heritage. Today, The Goose's Acre is a local favorite that is recognized as one of the premiere dining and drinking destinations in the state. The menu is a perfect mix of traditional Irish fare and inventive bar and dining options. The beer selection is top-notch, featuring a wide variety of local craft beers, as well as some of the best drinks in the state.
