The founder, Matt Borjes, started Space Saving Solutions in 2005 out of a bedroom with a mason jar of coins in Columbia, SC and has grown that business significantly over the past 15 years. He then established LandonSea (named after his son, Landon) and established "The Lake Murray Clean up Initiative." LandonSea evolved into a brand, offering paddleboards, bikes, and apparel. The DAM House was built from the ground up out of a 50-year-old house by the Lake Murray Dam which is now referred to as "The DAM House" by the community and its guests.
