Business Description

Marisa Papetti moved to our little corner of the state when she was 11 years old from a little German town called Langendiebach. As she grew up, she became more and more involved with the community at large; she worked for local publications Mount Baker Experience magazine and Cascadia Weekly, before branching off and forming her own marketing firm, fifthonsixth. The firm was devoted to promoting local small-and medium-sized businesses in the area, giving exposure to businesses that otherwise would get very little.

In 2013, she formed The Crossing Guide Magazine, a local publication aimed at showing the Canadian tourist exactly what Whatcom, Skagit and Island counties have to offer. Through this brand, she launched The Crossing Guide Tours. Her dedication to the community has not gone unappreciated, as she is currently up for Whatcom Women in Business' Business Woman of the Year. As ambitious and driven as ever, she feels the pulse of her community and can't wait to share it with you.
