Business Description
Dr. Mary Corey is native to Northern Virginia. Born Washingtonian, Dr. Mary grew up inside the Beltway. Her childhood buddies always included dogs, cats, horses, and a variety of other critters, large and small. She went on to Blacksburg where she attended VA Tech and studied Biochemistry. Upon graduating Cum Laude, she moved next door to attend the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, completing her training in 1988, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
She practiced veterinary medicine on the staff of noteworthy New Jersey veterinary hospitals through mid-1998. When she returned to Northern Virginia, Dr. Mary spent the following 2.5 years as a clinician in emergency medicine at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, where she discussed her aspiration to open a unique practice. With the encouragement of the referral center, she constructed her dream. In 2000, she opened Stream Valley Veterinary Hospital, her-and we hope your-new veterinary hospital.
