Stone Fox Farm Creamery is a small batch, handmade ice cream shop located in Searsport, Maine. Founded in 2009 by Bruce and Kathy Chamberlain, the creamery specializes in creating super premium ice cream made with all-natural, Maine-sourced ingredients whenever possible.
Bruce Chamberlain has had a lifelong passion for ice cream production. His interest stems from his father's work at Sealtest Dairy, which inspired Bruce to start his own ice cream company. Upon retirement, Bruce and Kathy decided to fulfill their dream and purchased a Carpigiani batch freezer to begin producing their own ice cream in their small home-factory in Monroe, ME. From the start, the Chamberlains were committed to using natural, locally-sourced ingredients. Milk and cream are supplied by two local dairies, while raspberries are hand-picked by a neighbor, and pure maple syrup is sourced from a nearby sugar house. Supporting other Maine businesses has always been a top priority for the Chamberlains.
