Business Description
I learned to groom in 1982 at Crater Road Veterinary hospital under the supervision of the renowned groomer Roberta Cook. From there I went to work for Gary Ackerman DVM at Tri-City Animal hospital in Colonial Heights where I worked as a Veterinary Assistant, receptionist and business manager along with starting the grooming business for the practice. My next venture led me to work for Patrick and Debbie Mullins at Pet World in Chesterfield Meadows as a groomer. After a few years there the opportunity came about for me to open my own business so in 1996 Stephanie's Pet Grooming was born.
