Brian was born and raised in Kalamazoo, and his father Gary (who works in Sales at Steensma Lawn & Power Equipment) owned a John Deere Dealership from 1972 to 1989. Brian graduated from University of Michigan in 1999, and upon graduation moved back to Kalamazoo in 2000, purchased an existing Deere dealership with his brother Kurt and Cousin Tim. Brian's role encompasses many hats now, including Company President and head of all company marketing and sales.
