Established in September 1999 in Dallas by lifelong best friends, Stardust Celebrations started as a privately-owned wedding planning firm and full-service wedding department store. With a vision to become a one-stop shopping experience for brides and their families, the business quickly outgrew its first location and expanded to Plano in 2000. The Dallas salon was renamed LuLu's Bridal Boutique, and in 2005, an 18,000 square foot wedding department store with a beautiful bridal salon was built.

In 2010, Stardust Celebrations opened an outlet store, A Bridal Closet, to offer overstocks, samples, and discontinued gowns at a fraction of their retail cost. Today, each of the three locations provides a unique experience, offering different gowns and accessories at different price ranges.
