Business Description
Born and raised in Switzerland, Toni's passion for fast cars and anything mechanical started at a very young age. Soon after graduating from high school he proceeded to register for an extensive four-year apprenticeship with Ford Motors, which he completed with honors. Inspired by Switzerland's dedication to precision and quality craftsmanship, Toni was continued training and developed a passion for cars. Toni has since worked for Volvo and Kenworth before deciding to try his luck in the US in 1975. Once in the United States he landed a job as a full-time technician with Import Motors, a Mercedes-Benz repair shop in Oakland, where he worked for over 7 years. In 1985, Toni started his own business and opened Star Motors in Benicia, and has been providing Mercedes-Benz service and repair.
