Business Description
Shannon Caperton, L.Ac became inspired to become an acupuncturist after witnessing the power of this type of medicine to improve the health of members of her family who were struggling with health issues and not finding relief using standard medical care. She attended graduate school at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago were she earned her Master in Traditional Chinese Medicine. During her time in Chicago she was privileged to work in underserved communities at the Project Vida clinic in the Little Villages neighborhood of Chicago's west side, as well as at Chicago Women's Health. All of these experiences as well as extensive work inside the schools student clinic prepared her for working with diverse populations and provided experience treating a wide variety of disorders. Shannon is nationally certified by the NCCAOM, as well as licensed by the Ohio Medical Board. She lives in Medina, and enjoys spending time with her dog and hiking in the Metroparks in her free time.
