Business Description
I was born in Richardson, Texas but grew up in west Texas near our family's ranch. My grandfather and uncles had an oil company and their philosophy was that if you work hard and are fair and honest with people you will be successful. When I graduated from high school I came to the Dallas area for college and studied politics, international politics and history as well as psychology. After considering a job with the State Department or continuing to study psychology, I decided to stay in Dallas with my young family. I eventually became an attorney. I spent a short time in Washington, DC working for congressman Ralph Hall in 2002 and running two political campaigns in Iowa and Georgia. I returned to Dallas where I was a prosecutor for a while before eventually returning to private practice.
