The Gallery offers an eclectic selection of artwork and items for sale, ranging from paintings and bronze statues to jewelry, candles, silks, pottery, metalwork, prints, weavings, woodwork, Myrtlewood baskets, wind chimes, purses, soap rocks, cards, puzzles, and much more.

Founded in 1983 as a co-op by a group of local artists who wanted a venue to sell their work, Second Street Gallery has evolved over the years into a thriving business that continues to showcase the talents of local artists. Today, local artists still supply about 70% of the art in the gallery. Second Street Gallery is no longer a co-op, but the spirit of community and collaboration remains strong.

Carrie, the current owner of Second Street Gallery, is a lifelong resident of the Bandon area and has always enjoyed shopping at the gallery for unique gifts. In March of 2018, she saw that the gallery was for sale and knew instantly that she wanted to purchase it. Carrie left her longtime job at Coos Health & Wellness, through Coos County, to run the gallery full-time. Her daughter, Elizabeth, manages the gallery's social media presence.
