BioWelcome to Safe Nest Babyproofing! I founded Safe Nest after experiencing for myself the frustrations of trying to babyproof my own home. Like all new parents, I wanted to provide the safest possible home environment for my baby, but the big box chain stores all sold the same poorly designed products.
After taking multiple trips to the major retailers and spending hours installing these products just to see my inquisitive daughter quickly defeat them, I thought there had to be better options. I took it upon myself to research and test an array of babyproofing products to keep my daughter safe.
Three years and one more kid later, I founded Safe Nest Babyproofing to put my experiences to good use by helping other parents protect their own kids. I am a member of the International Association For Child Safety and a Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. I have helped hundreds of parents baby proof their homes and have installed more stair gates than I can count!
SpecialtiesSafe Nest Babyproofing is fully insured, professionally trained, and a member of the International Association for Child Safety. We are experts in identifying hidden dangers in your home, recommending the safest solutions, and providing installation services.
During the in-home evaluation we'll ask questions about your child's behavior and any special areas of concern you may have. We'll walk through the entire home room by room, looking for both the obvious and not so obvious dangers, compiling a detailed report with our safety suggestions. This report will include general safety suggestions, common hidden household dangers, and a customized list of products and services that we recommend to make your home safer.
We will cover items such as stairway gates, cabinet latches, and electrical outlets but also many other items that parents may not be aware are potential hazards in the home. You may then choose to implement any of the suggestions yourself, or have Safe Nest install them.
