Dr. Lane Smith and Dr. Linda Garza earned their undergraduate degrees in Texas and their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in Auburn, Alabama.
"We always knew we would come back home to San Antonio," says Dr. Lynn Garza.
Dr. Smith and Dr. Garza began practicing veterinary medicine in the San Antonio area in 2001 and 2003 respectively. Their dream of practicing together became a reality when they opened the doors to Smith & Shedd Family Pet Hospital in November of 2006.
Their families have grown along with their practice. Dr. Smith, his wife Jennifer, and their daughter and son, share their home with two guinea pigs, Lizzie and Cleo, and a golden retriever Annabelle.
