Irene founded Ruidoso Malinois and oversees all the kennel's programs. She is a certified master working dog trainer and has brought a scientific approach to clarifying the needs to push standards in the breed to a higher level. In the counter-narcotics community, she is known for developing and instructing the first U.S. Department of State K-9 program for the Department of Corrections, Mexico. Her breeding program, development and nutrition based programs are the baseline to numerous K-9 programs here in the USA. Irene is an instructor at the Police K-9 seminar in Las Vegas Nevada. This vast exposure and experience of raising and training dogs from whelped to K-9 (not puppy to K-9) her insights have longevity and proven success.
