Nestled in the heart of Michigan City, IN, the Ritz Klub Tavern is a historic landmark that has been serving up great food and drinks for over a century. Known as the oldest tavern in town, the Ritz Klub has a legacy that dates back to the 1890s when it was first established as the Buffet Polski by Sylvester Komasinski. Later in the 1940s, John Komasinski changed the name to the Ritz Klub and operated the business with Cecilia Komasinski. John and Cecilia ran it until the 1970s, and then brother Richard and sister Phyllis took it over and operated the business until May of 2020.

As of June 1st, 2020, the Ritz Klub Tavern is under new ownership by Michigan City native, Benjamin Roule. With extensive experience in the beer industry and as a successful entrepreneur, Roule understands the importance and ties the Ritz Klub has to the local community and plans to continue the historic legacy and local following the Komasinski's have created for the tavern.
