Business Description
I was born on an island off of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. My family moved to Santa Ynez, California in 1974. I rode horses all my life and was a horse trainer for many years. In 1982 I was travelling in New Zealand when I was hit by a car while walking. I spent 6 weeks "out of it" and a further 6 weeks learning to be human again. 3 months in the hospital got me mobile, but I had considerable pain and was partially handicapped. After 6 years I could no longer deal with the pain in my knees and was prescribed double-knee replacement as my only option.
My Dad talked me into giving acupuncture a try. After 2 treatments I started feeling relief and cancelled my pending surgeries. I wound up having 24 treatments that restored me to nearly perfect functioning; I am deeply grateful to acupuncture for giving me back my life with no pain, no fear and such a strong conviction in our body's potential to heal!
