Business Description
Ray Rathel owns Rathel's Accounting Service. Ray went to Southern Tech for a computer science degree. In 1987 he started working for an accountant supposedly doing computer consulting work. He ended up doing tax and accounting work instead. He liked the accounting and tax work and went to Kennesaw State College to study accounting. He became partners with another accountant in 1991 and formed West Metro Accounting. In 1998 he left West Metro Accounting to start his own business Rathel's Accounting Service. He became an Enrolled Agent(EA) to be able to represent clients before IRS. He has spent hundreds of hours learning tax law, tax saving strategies, and how to help clients that have tax problems. He offers all of his services at a reasonable price and tries to make sure that all of his clients get exceptional service.
