Hello,
My name is Krystl Apeles and I grew up on Kauai, The Garden Island. I majored in fashion design and merchandise and graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2009 as a member of the International Golden Key Honour Society. I founded Puka Surf Co. originally for my beachwear clothing designs and have traveled worldwide gaining knowledge, experience, and inspiration for future collections.
I enjoy designing unique pieces and feel they are a translation of my love for traveling and the ocean. My motto is "rich is the life you live" which is exactly what I want wearers of Puka clothing to do live a rich life.
