Business Description
Kathy Stewart, MS, PT was born and raised in Culver City, CA and graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 1978 with a BS in Physical Therapy and became a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In 1979, she became a Registered Physical Therapist in the state of California. She and her husband, Mark, moved to Virginia in 1980 and she began working at the Montgomery Regional Hospital while Mark earned his MBA from Va. Tech. In 1987, Mark and Kathy opened Professional Rehab Associates to provide private outpatient services to residents of the NRV. Their two older sons, Nate and Nick, are basketball coaches using knowledge their mom passed along to prevent injury and promote wellness. Their youngest son, Nolan, and his wife, Brittany joined PRA in 2009 and 2011, respectively, to carry on the family practice. PRA has been owned and operated by the Stewart family for over a quarter of a century and looks forward to many years to come serving you and your family.
