Park Cities Studios is a Dallas-based dance and performing arts school that offers expert instruction in dance, singing, acting, and fitness. This state-of-the-art studio is modeled after the great schools of New York, L.A., and London, and boasts a faculty of 22 top professionals in the performing arts.

The studio offers over 200 classes weekly, including Mommy+Me, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Singing, Opera, Acting for Theater/TV/Film, Zumba, Ballet Stretch+Strengthen, and 30-min Workout. The classes cater to every age group and skill level, from the once-a-week recreational student to the pre-professional aspirant studying 15 hours weekly for a career in dance, theater, TV/film, or opera.

Founded in 2008 by New Yorker Jacqueline Porter, Park Cities Studios is a complete performing arts school that provides world-class training and performance opportunities. In 2010, Porter created The Dallas Conservatory to meet the needs of serious and talented students ages 8-18.

One of the unique features of Park Cities Studios is its metropolitan approach to training. There is no obligatory year-end recital, and students may elect to participate. The studio values training over competition, although competition is an option for students who excel. Additionally, students may drop in from other schools and universities to ongoing classes and master classes.

Jacqueline Porter, the Founding Artistic and Executive Director, is a twice-named YAGP's Outstanding Teacher (2015, 2013) at the semi-finals of the famed international ballet competition. She was an award-winning Highland Dancer before beginning professional ballet training with the Chautauqua Festival, Lake Erie Ballet, and world-renowned Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. During her stage career, which included two Broadway shows and three National Tours, Jacqueline continued to study ballet with the most famous names in New York: David Howard and Fhinis Jung.
