Business Description
Hi, I’m a huge terrier person- it’s my favorite group and I just love figuring out how to get terriers on my team. I enjoy teaching dogs to be better housemates and teammates. My experience started when my aunt and mom became 4-H leaders for the dog club. It sparked my love for working with dogs and building relationships with them. My aunts shelter mix was my very first agility dog, and while she didn’t enjoy it, I learned about using positive training that is the heart of my philosophy. As I grew I observed many idols in dog training such as Jane Killion, Ian Dunbar, and Patricia McConnell where I started with clicker training and more choices in teaching rather than the more rigid style I first was taught. I have titled various breeds/mixes in everything from agility to lure coursing. I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, Service dog trainer, and most recently therapy dog handler.
